Cooper

WOW you are turning into a little man! Some of our favorite things you say:

-you ask a ton of questions every day. It keeps us on our toes.
-you LOVE LOVE LOVE dogs. The odds of you ever getting your own dog while you are a kid is slim. Any dog you see you say that you want that dog. We have told you that you can get your own dog when you are a grown up and have your own house. It is your favorite thing to tell people.
-You watch movies and will remember scenes of what has happened and ask over and over "why" did it happen.
-You love Nora. We call her "sassy pants" but you call her "fancy pants".

You aren't a child who has a "security" toy. Thank goodness because we loose things a lot and I'd hate to be in charge of your favorite things. Instead you find a new item every few days/weeks that is your favorite. Recently it is a huge stuffed dog that you carry around with your blanket in the morning. Daddy and I laughed the first time you tried to bring it to bed with us early in the morning wake ups that you give.

Nora

You love to be outside. You are often found standing by the sliding door or front door saying "outside" in your nasally sounding voice. When you find out we are getting our jackets and shoes on, you get so excited. Once out, you love to ride in your car or play in the sandbox.

You are a dancing queen. Anytime you hear music you start running in place or bouncing with your legs. Cooper never danced until recently-between you and school he's coming out of his shell. We have dance parties before bedtime.

Cooper

You love to play outside especially when the other kids are out playing. The neighbor kids are all older than you-the youngest is 6 and the oldest is 12. When you run outside and see the kids you yell HI everybody! This is the first year we've let you go across the street to play and you love it!!!

What a big boy you are growing into. Preschool has changed you so much and boy do you love each day! Your teachers are Ms. Liz and Ms. Ezzy. The kids you play with the most are Marino, JB, and Lillia. Each day you smile at the mere mention of going to school and run up to the building each day when we arrive. I do hope that your love of school continues....Each night before bed I ask what your favorite part of the day was. Your ability to remember parts of the day always warms my heart. I hope your teachers know how much you love school.

Each week you learn a new letter, the sound it makes and the class makes a list of the words of that letter. Your new fascination is to ask what letter words start with. I would say you ask about at least 30 words a day! Such an eager learner.

Your love for Nora is amazing. Some mornings she wakes you up and you smile the sweetest, biggest smile as you wake up and know she is near you.

How much you love me. You will just come up and give me a kiss or tell me that you love me. I never could have imagined the feeling I have when you look at me and smile. At night either Daddy or I will stay with you for a little while before you fall asleep. There are nights when you take my hand and arm and hug it tight. The absolute best is when you ask me to lay on the pillow next to you and to stay a while. You are such a loving little boy.

Nora

You are talking so much these days. The way your voice sounds is so cute....it sounds like you are holding your nose. Daddy and I laugh when you ask for a snack: I want snack and you head over to the pantry to get your snack.

Halloween was so much fun for you! While you had no idea what candy was, you sure knew that people were handing you things and saying how adorable you looked in your Vikings cheerleader costume. You took off down the sidewalk practically running as fast as your little legs could move you up driveways. By the end of the night you were saying "Trick or Treat" in your nasally tone. Many people were letting you grab candy out of the bowl-for those people who handed it to you you would reach up for the bowl because you wanted to do it on your own!

Nora

Well, you have your Mama's personality for getting frustrated and it is so darn cute! When you don't get what you want fast enough, you start grabbing at your clothes, scrunch up your toes or stand on your tippy toes if you are standing, and get loud! I love it!!!
You are cruising right along these days and are trying so hard to walk on your own. You can find your head (and proceed to rip any and all hair ties out of your hair within a few minutes of pulling the hair out of your eyes), your nose (you like to stick your fingers in your nose), and your belly.
Daddy has taught you sign language for drink and more both of which you do very well and allow us to know what you want without you getting too frustrated.
You are a little sweetheart and are a Daddy's girl! When you see Daddy enter the room you crawl as fast as you can to get to him and if he leaves the room, forget it! You cry and wait for him to get back. If Daddy is holding you and tries to give you to someone else to hold, you grab onto him and don't let go! Your Daddy loves it
