Growling Nora

You used to make sounds that sounded like a kitty cat. Now you make growling sounds. Deep growling sounds. Tonight Daddy was rubbing your back and you were growling in happiness.
2 big things happened this weekend: You got your first tooth and started crawling on your hands and knees. I don't think you like crawling on all fours because you can get around much faster on your army crawl.
9 months already. It's going by so fast. I worried for so long how I was going to love you as much as I do Cooper, but it comes naturally. You are such a sweet baby girl and Daddy and I can't wait to see what comes next with you.

Bribery for Cooper

We are not above bribing you to start using the potty. Daddy has bought you 10 different trains to give you once you start going. Tonight after a month of trying to get you to go potty or poop, you finally pooped. You knew that you would get Hiro (a new train-the most expensive one we have bought for you). Well, you got your Hiro tonight and were ridiculously happy. You introduced Hiro to all of your other trains. "Hi Salty" "Hi Hiro" "Hi Duncan" "Hi Hiro". TOnight you read a book to Hiro.
You are precious when it comes to the trains.

cooper

Mommy and Daddy say you "YOu are such a good boy!"
You say to us "You a good lady" or "You a good man"

cooper

You have always loved to read since you were a litlte baby and figured out how to turn the pages of a book. Currently you love to read The Little Engine that Could and we read it to you each night. Some nights you want to keep reading a book, so you ask us to leave the lights on so you can read your book. Daddy and I often can hear you telling the story of a book that we've read a few times to you. It melts our hearts that you love to read so much and are already anticipating needing to keep stock in flashlight batteries as you will probably stay up late at night reading books!

Chuck E Cheese-Cooper

For some reason Daddy and I tend to be a little on the protective side with letting you explore freely. I for one get pretty nervous about you getting hurt.....We went to Chuck E Cheese for the first time when we were in Florida. The place was empty for just a few other people. There was a maze that runs along the ceiling of the restaurant. I probably would have avoided that whole area if possible because my big fear is that you'd get up there and want to get down and I'd have to crawl up in the maze (I am not a fan of tight spaces and the maze hurts the knees!!)
You and Pop Pop went off to play and next thing we know Pop Pop comes to tell us that you crawled up the slide and was now in the maze. Surprisingly, I was excited that you got up there and enjoyed it. Pop Pop on the other hand was a nervous wreck. You were the only one in the maze and having a ball. We could follow your shadow and every once in a while you'd pokeyour head out of the one of the spots where you could see us. You were loving every minute of it and just kept crawling or walking along the tubes. Poor Pop Pop just kept saying "come on, Cooper. Come down this way. Come on out of there." Pop Pop finally confessed he was nervous about you being up there. I loved that I thought I was the nervous one, and it was Pop Pop. You had a great time playing on the rides and doing some of the games. It was a great way to see how you'd like Disney with the rides. Now....will I let you in the maze again??
