Nora

Well, you have your Mama's personality for getting frustrated and it is so darn cute! When you don't get what you want fast enough, you start grabbing at your clothes, scrunch up your toes or stand on your tippy toes if you are standing, and get loud! I love it!!!
You are cruising right along these days and are trying so hard to walk on your own. You can find your head (and proceed to rip any and all hair ties out of your hair within a few minutes of pulling the hair out of your eyes), your nose (you like to stick your fingers in your nose), and your belly.
Daddy has taught you sign language for drink and more both of which you do very well and allow us to know what you want without you getting too frustrated.
You are a little sweetheart and are a Daddy's girl! When you see Daddy enter the room you crawl as fast as you can to get to him and if he leaves the room, forget it! You cry and wait for him to get back. If Daddy is holding you and tries to give you to someone else to hold, you grab onto him and don't let go! Your Daddy loves it

Camp:
You have left Ms. Ragaa, your sitter for the past 3 years. You've been in a setting with just a few other kids most of whom were younger than you. This summer you started a camp where you get to be with kids all your own age. Each morning when you wake up, you ask if you are going to your adventure after morning. We call camp your adventure so that you'd understand what camp was. Even on Saturday and Sunday you wanted to go. We can't wait for your next stage which is preschool in the fall!

You are so such a sweet boy....and curious! My favorite times with you are anytime you will sit and tell me a story about something that happened in your day. Just today you randomly started telling me about crying outside because you didn't want to hug Stella. That happened a week ago and you haven't talked about it since it happened. You do not like to tell people goodbye-you usually won't give hugs and become very shy. I think we will need to have the person leaving make sure they get a good hug from you before they do leave so that they get it!
My other favorite time with you is bedtime. Our routine with you and sleep is the same as it always has been-clean up, diaper, read a book. Lately, when we finish the book you want to read it to us. I enjoy your renditions of the books either we have read over and over and you know by heart or new books that you ask "what this, Mama?" Some nights you aren't quite ready to be by yourself, so you stroke my face and say "stay with me, Mama" My heart just melts when you say this. If you sense I am about to get up, you'll throw your arm around my neck so I stay. Other nights you tell me to "go, Mama". You like your light on, closet doors closed, and the door left open. Most nights you'll come running into Mama and Daddy's room in the middle of the night and either we'll walk you back to your room or if you get to Mommy, she throws you into bed and then then wonders how you got there when she wakes in the morning!
